Here's a ton of excessive information about me!!!

You might have seen me around under the display names Greco-Roman Apollo, Apollo Lykios, Apollogetic, etc. I answer best to Apollo and Greco-Roman Apollo. Feel free to mess around with nicknames!! Except Polly. Please do not call me Polly that's like, really exclusive.

NOTE - pleeeease don't contact me looking for easy friendship. I'm happy to talk about OCs or media that I'm really into, but I don't deal well with small talk, and generally dislike talking about myself or my life when I'm not like. Prepared to. Like right now. Anyways!!!

I'm male, and I use he/him pronouns only. Please avoid using they/them pronouns for me, it makes me uncomfortable!! You don't need to apologize if you didn't know, you're totally fine.
I'm mixed Native Pacific Islander, Asian, and White. I was mostly raised in an islander cultural setting! Please forgive my vagueness, I wouldn't want my elders to find out about me.
I also know a little bit of Chinese from classes in high school. I was quite good at it at the time! Not so much now, probably.

I'm 22 years old and I live with my partner and a friend in Maryland, USA.

As you might know from my posts or from my T.O.S, digital art is my main source of income. I have experience drawing a wide range of subjects, humanoid and furry, fantasy and modern. Please don't be afraid to ask questions about what you'd like me to draw for you, I'm happiest when I feel flexible in my art!

In addition to being a digital artist, I'm also a full-time college student! I'm a Psychology major projected to graduate from community college with an Associates this Spring. I'll be moving on to University soon after - not sure where I'm going yet.
Note: Do not try to tell me to change majors because you have a skewed perspective of the field - it's quite rude considering my mental health issues.

You may also have figured out that I'm a trans guy! I started testosterone hormone replacement therapy on September 25th, 2020, and I plan to get top surgery in the near future. I'm deeply in support of trans body positivity!!
Though, please avoid discussing my trans-ness with me unless you're also trans. It makes me reeeeeeeally uncomfortable and dysphoric, regardless of how supportive you are! I promise you it's just a problem with me and past work, school, and family experiences.

Aaaaand finally I gotta discuss this, since it does actually regularly impact my ability to work and interact with clients. I have ADHD (combined type), as well as BPD (borderline personality disorder), and other mood issues that have yet to be diagnosed. Certain things can make or break my day, and it's extremely hard to predict at times. I'm seeking help for this, just please understand that this might affect the speed at which you'll receive updates if you've commissioned me, or also might just affect how often I'm around to talk in general.
And I also need to include - I have done years of research into this kinda stuff, and I'm well aware of common stigmas against self diagnosis on the internet. I personally believe that there are certain points at which self diagnosis should be scrutinized, but most of the time, self diagnosis actually serves as a means of getting help and understanding oneself before one can get a professional diagnosis. Please understand that I am not claiming self diagnosis is inherently more valid than a professional diagnosis, but also keep in mind the prevalence of misdiagnosis, ignoring symptoms and normalizing trauma, and the difficulty of getting a professional diagnosis especially for LGBT and AFAB BIPOC! Sorry to get a bit political, but as a Psychology major, this kinda stuff is important to me.

Here's some other useless information about me!!
• I literally only feel comfortable playing Unholy Death Knights in World of Warcraft. It's been YEARS. Pretty sure I've been playing since sometime mid-2017. When will it change. It's been like 3 years.
• I LOVE MUSIC. SO MUCH. I play violin, clarinet, flute, and basically anything I can get my hands on. I'm only really familiar with treble cleft and I'm a lot more comfortable playing by ear on the violin, but I'm literally always itching to try something new. Current instrumental dreamies are a keyboard, lever harp (pedal harp is dreaming too big - literally), and erhu.
• I can shoot a bow and arrow (left-handed)! Also I'm left-handed in general.
• I'm stupid passionate about Botany, Horseshoe crabs, and Paleontology, generally in that order of intensity. Don't validate me or else I'll talk your head off about them!!!!
• I DON'T SHUT UP. EVER.
• Do not mention Fortuna to me because I will SERIOUSLY talk your head off, I'm not even kidding. I'm very intensely into it.
• I know my thing is Greek/Roman mythology themed, but I'm actually a lot more familiar with Norse mythology. And Catholic mythology too, but that's uhh, a little less enjoyable for me.
